CMS Contracting owns and maintains a comprehensive fleet of late-model machinery — from 1.5-tonne mini excavators through to 22-tonne machines, plus bobcats, positracks, trucks, site dumpers, and compaction rollers. Every machine is serviced to schedule and fitted with current safety systems.

Need an operator? Our crew are fully ticketed, experienced across residential and commercial sites, and know the machines inside out. Whether you need a mini excavator for a tight-access pool dig or a 22T and operator for a month-long earthworks project, we’ll match the right gear to your job and have it on site fast.

Because we’re also demolition, excavation, and civil contractors, many of our hire clients end up using us for the full project — but the machine and operator are available on their own if that’s all you need.

  • Wet Hire – Machine + experienced CMS operator. We supply the equipment, the person to run it, and the expertise. You point, we dig.
  • Dry Hire – Machine only — you supply your own licensed operator. Ideal if you have ticketed crew on staff and just need the gear.
